Consistent with its motto, the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives aggressively pursues its goals by conducting substantive research, speaking out on various issues and performing a variety of outreach activities. NOBLE's success in this arena is reflected by its growth and the major role it has played -- and continues to play -- in shaping policy in areas of vital importance to minorities and the law enforcement community.
Since its inception, NOBLE has effectively used the media, the judicial process, and direct correspondence to express opinions and concerns. NOBLE firmly believes that speaking out on the salient issues helps to favorably influence the decisions of those who develop public policy.
